Passed peacefully on June 14, 2017 at West Island Palliative Care Residence. Beloved wife of Thomas Murray for 68 years; loving mother of Deborah Shannon (Peter) and Suzanne Farmer (deceased). Marguerite was the cherished and proud grandmother of Mackenzie Allsop (Jeff), Derek and Leanne Farmer, and Tyler Shannon (Justine); and the loving great-grandmother of Ayva and Noelle. She was the devoted daughter of the late Eva and Arthur Watson of Woodstock, New Brunswick. She was a founding member of St. Augustine Anglican Church in Pointe-Claire and a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Valois. Marg was a distinguished past queen of the Daughter of the Nile Montreal and active member of Karnak Shrine Ladies Auxiliary. She will be forever remembered for her loving, generous and witty spirit, her supportive compassionate, and persistent nature. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on June 24 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Woodstock, New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children-Canada, 1003 Decarie Boulevard, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1A6; West Island Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre Brunet, Kirkland, Quebec H9H 3R4; the Canadian Cancer Society; or a charity of your choice.
