died in Valleyfield Suroit Hospital after kind-hearted care.
He was predeceased by his father Ross and mother Elsie (Dexter) Magee.
Crazy Pete was a bon vivant, who was loved by those who knew him. He raised funds for sick children through dancing and barbecue events and in 2000 was presented the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award, by Governor General Adrian Clarkson.
Pete also played Santa Clause, for many years and although he stopped, for health reasons, people continued to call him Père Noël.
He will be missed.
On Saturday, May 13th, from 2:30pm to 6pm, a Gathering to Celebrate Pete's life will be at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, located at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC H9S 3Y5.
