She was born September 10, 1918 in New London, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late George Jones and Angela Jones (nee Armstrong).
Adelaide was a Junior High School teacher in the New York City school system for 19 years before retiring in 1979 to Pompano Beach, Florida where she resided with her loving husband Alvin, who predeceased her in 1992 after forty-nine years of marriage.
She is survived by her two daughters Judy Mastrorilli and Iris Taylor; son –in-law Pat Mastrorilli; four grandchildren: John Mastrorilli, Janine Mastrorilli, Jennifer Bitsack and Tracy Marotta and grandson-in-law Jeff Bitsack.
