She was an extraordinary woman! In addition to working, she was a woman who did it all, always with a positive attitude, boundless amount of energy and a competitive spirit. She had many interests and past times. She was an avid Steeler Fan and followed professional tennis. She loved spending time outdoors; playing tennis and working in the yard. She collected Lighthouses and Giraffes. She was a crafty Bridge player, she sewed - making clothing and Halloween costumes, loved to read, spend time at her condo on the beach in Hutchinson Island and most of all she loved to bake. Alice fondly known as “Cookie Mom” baked over 1200 cookies at Christmas time year after year.
Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and planning vacations, especially cruises. She had been on 30 cruises and famously known for taking the whole family on a European cruise. She joined an RV club and crisscrossed the country twice in her 80’s. Alice started and kept traditions for many years including monthly Girl's Night, Annual Cookie Night and Girl's Weekend Getaway to celebrate Mother's Day with a Kentucky Derby race party. She loved a good margarita and a cold beer. She truly loved having fun and watching her family have fun. Alice leaves a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
