Angelina Talerico, January 20, 1928 - September 30, 2016. Widow of Tommaso Talerico, devoted husband of 61 years. Dearly loved by her seven children Domenico, Serafino (Feb 18, 1956-Jan. 19, 2014), Mario (Jennifer), Sara, Francesco (AnnMarie), AnnaRita, and Loredana (Max) and eleven grandchildren. Angelina was born in Cerenzia, Italy. She had three brothers and five sisters, including Josephine, Teodoro, Rita, and Gianetta who survive. Life in Southern Italy was hard and Angelina made many sacrifices to raise her family. Hoping for their children to have a better life, at the age of 44 Angelina with Tommaso moved their family to the United States, settling in Dearborn, MI. Her whole life was devoted to her family. She always gave them all her love and did everything she could to make sure they had a better life than hers. She worked tirelessly to the point of exhaustion to serve her family. In 1997, she and Tommaso moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Angelina exemplified in every sense and being what God meant when he created a Mother. “Le Mamme sono le colonne portanti della famiglia. Amano senza pretesa, donano senza inganno, soffrono in silenzio, e sono sempre pronte al perdono”. (Mothers are the pillars of the family, they love without deception, suffer in silence, and are always ready to forgive, Pope Francis). She was the pillar that supported her family with her love, strength, and forgiving heart. She held her family above herself and loved everyone without wanting anything in return and without a complaint. The pillar who held the family together is gone. She will take a piece of our souls with her and leave a piece of her soul with us. Our hearts will ache until we are reunited with her one day in heaven to put the pieces back where they belong. Vi vogliamo bene la tua famiglia
