Antonio D. Coletta

Coletta, Anthony, born March 25, 1915 passed away on April 7, 2016. Tony was a longtime resident of Pompano Beach, originally from Patterson, NJ. He is survived by sons: Michael and Richard; grandchildren: Cheryl, Michele, John and James; and other dear relatives: Natalie, Ann Marie, Janet and Simon. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, rose, and his sons: Joseph and Anthony. Tony graduated from drake business school in 1933 and worked for several business firms in personnel management, accounting, and business consulting. He retired in 1977 and quickly became active and involved in his condominium community. He served on the board as Condo President until the age of 98. He put his heart and soul into the condo community and was well known for his supportive attitude. His motto: “I always try to help and never hurt anybody.” He was a much loved member of the community and will be greatly missed. Visitation is scheduled for April 17, 2016 at Kraeer Funeral Home 200 North Federal Highway Pompano Beach, FL 33062. A Memorial Mass will be held April 18, 2016 at 10am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
