Born on May 27th, 1936, in Omaha, Nebraska, Monnie was the daughter of Charles Chester Webb and Emma Mae Bell Webb. She moved to Miami then married William Henry “Bill” Harrison in 1967, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family and love.
A devoted follower of Christ, Monnie led by quiet example—always quick to pray, serve others, and offer wisdom rooted in Scripture. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and one of the many gifts she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Armonde Smith and Debra Anne Galup, her grandchildren Erika Galup, Angela Moore and Christina Galup, her great-grandson Kyle Christopher Moore, Jr., her sister Myrna Sue Dowdell, brother-in-law Donald Dowdell, and many loved nieces and nephews, each of whom was deeply blessed by her unwavering love, strength, and encouragement. To her family, she was not just a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and aunt— but a guiding light, a safe place, and a spiritual anchor. She was everyone’s “Prayer Warrior”. Her gentle smiles, handwritten notes of scripture, intelligent conversation, and clever wit will be missed beyond measure.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 15th at 12:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home in Pompano Beach. All who were blessed to know her are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
Though we grieve her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is home, whole and radiant in the presence of her Savior.
Kraeer Funeral Home is honored to assist Armonde's family in their time of need.
