Audrey was born in Buffalo, NY, on January 4, 1955, and made South Florida her home as a late teen. She was a Tamarac resident for the better part of 45 years. It was here that she built lasting friendships that remain strong to this day. Audrey was a cherished mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was truly a gem, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Audrey's life was defined by her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Tina and Jennifer, and her “furry daughter” Rosey; three son-in-laws, Michael Weisberg, Jason Freeman, and TJ Reese; six grandchildren, Brett Williamson (Kemyell Carter), Lea Williamson (Eric Stone), Brendan Freeman, Dylan Freeman, Jaiden Reese, and Mikayla Weisberg; and her four great-grandchildren, KaLeah Williamson, Brett Michael Williamson Jr., Braylon Williamson, and Layla Stone.
Audrey was a feisty lady who never held back what was on her mind. She had a bold and vibrant personality that made her unforgettable. Whether it was sharing her opinions or offering a kind word, Audrey always spoke her truth with passion. She loved to engage with everyone she met, never hesitating to stop and chat with strangers she passed in the store or on the street. Her infectious smile and warm heart made every conversation feel like a personal connection.
She was also deeply connected to her neighbors, always looking out for them and their families. Audrey’s sense of community was one of her defining qualities. She valued those around her, and she cherished the friendships she formed over the years. Whether it was checking in on her neighbors or just enjoying a casual conversation, Audrey was the embodiment of what it means to be a good friend and neighbor.
Audrey's warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a passion for life, and it was evident in the things she loved most—her family, her community, and the beautiful moments she shared with those she loved.
She was an avid visitor to the Peace Garden, where she would stroll hand-in-hand with her sweet granddaughter Mikayla, admiring the beautifully painted kindness rocks. She found solace in the Peace Garden and loved the MSD memorial and the inspiring statues that decorated the cities of Coral Springs and Tamarac. Audrey was a proud member of the Coral Springs Rocks Facebook group, where she found joy in sharing kindness rocks and discovering others.
In honor of Audrey’s memory, we ask that you bring a painted kindness rock to her services with the hashtag #AudgeRocks on the back. When you find one, please share a photo, so we can all see the love and warmth that continues to spread in her memory. These rocks will be placed in the Peace Garden, by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also in other places where we feel Audrey would have loved to discover a kind message.
Audrey’s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to touch the lives of her family and everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
May her spirit live on in the kindness we share with others.
Rest in peace, Mom. Lots of Love Always.
