Catherine Cathy Kelly

Catherine Kelly went home to be with the Lord on December 19th, 2016. Catherine was born on October 23, 1927 to the late Patrick and Margaret Conway in the Bronx, New York. Catherine was predeceased by her devoted husband Patrick Andrew Kelly in March 2016 and her brother James Conway in April 2014. Catherine and Patrick were married on June 9, 1951. They lived in the Bronx, Irvington (N.Y.), as well as Fort Lauderdale and Parkland (Florida).

Catherine is survived by her daughter Marguerite (Steve) Johnson, her son Patrick (Nancy) Kelly and her grandchildren Brian (Diana) Benway, Kimberly (Ryan) Reynolds, and Patrick Kelly and great-grandchildren Robert, Caroline and Natalie.

Catherine enjoyed her life as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and being a loyal friend to so many. She was a strong influence in her husband’s remarkable career and always encouraged her family to become all that they were capable of being. Catherine will be remembered for her charm, grace and beauty.

A memorial mass for Catherine will be held in New York and she will be interred at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
