

the age of 75.
Christine was born on August 7h 1949, in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of John and Florence (McDonald) McDermott. Christine was the beloved wife of the late Glenn McDonough and proud mother to her children Mary McDonough, Kimberly Eisenmann-Byerly, Kelly Gibson, and son, James Lynch.
Christine, better known to many as "The Duke," found great joy working as a General Contractor in the home improvement field until her retirement in 2012. A faithful member of the Catholic Church, she was deeply committed to service. A passionate advocate for women's rights, in 2004 Christine founded the annual Christmas Gala and toy drive charity event at Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center. She also devoted herself to supporting individuals on the path to recovery from alcohol addiction, offering
encouragement and compassion.
Her legacy lives on through her daughters, sons, and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
Memorial mass will occur Friday, May 23 2025, at 10:00 a.m at Saint David's Catholic Church, 3900 S. University Drive, Davie, Florida 33328.
Committal services will be held at the graveside in
Kraeer Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 W. Copans Rd,
Pompano Beach, Florida, Monday, May 26 2025, beginning at noon.
