I just called down there and asked for you and had no idea this happened. I am absolutely heartbroken. In 2008, Chris gave multiple chances to a pill junkie from Kentucky that he never met and he is one of the biggest reasons for my sobriety and my job as a Peer Support Specialist in a recovery center today. 

I hate that I will never hear "Hey, Pillbilly!" again but the world and countless lives are better for you having been in it.  I hope I can have 10% of the impact on my clients that you had on me and so many others.

One of the nicest people I met. He helped alot of people get their lives in order. So sorry about your loss.

I was so very sorry to hear of Chris’s passing. It has been many years but I recall the strength and conviction in Chris’s recovery and rehabilitation. He touched and changed many lives for the better and he is gone far too soon but may his memory live on in our hearts.

So very sorry to hear of Chris' passing.  Chris and I became such close friends when I moved to Lawrenceville.  So many great memories with Chris and the LT boys.  Although it has been a while since we last spoke, I have always considered Chris a great friend.

Forever grateful for everything chris has done for me. He has helped so many like me, It hurts to know he is no longer with us.  Thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself.  Much love bro bro ~yakin~ 

This is shocking and painful to write.  Chris and I have been friends since childhood.  He was always so kind to everyone.  I have not seen him for years but social media reconnected us.   
I will miss him very much.  His generosity to others, his kindness, everything.  Rest In Peace my old friend 

Chris and I did not keep up with each other, and maybe spoke last a year or so ago, but I grew up with him in Lawrenceville and counted him as a friend for many years. I’ll always remember his smile, driving around in his parent’s Trans Am, a frisbee in the back, and Steely Dan or Santana playing in the background. Lots of fond memories and good times. When last we spoke he was doing well and he talked a lot about his love for his child and being a parent. Sad, sad new. I send my deepest condolences to the family, some of whom I knew well when we were kids. 

Dear Chris,
     I was never a client and you knew this and still let me hang out and freeload off the sobriety. Although I live in LA now, I am forever thankful. I always wished that I could stop by a meeting at First Step and share my story. I mean, it was so therapeutic to have friends  that were trying to walk a straight line and onto their dreams. 
Speaking of dreams, I have a farm now, I got some animals, some fruits and vegetables going, a good and loyal woman, I'm stable, I'm happy, I'm clean, and I've might've screwed up a couple of times along the way, but I'm not today and you taught me that it's all that matters. May the Heavens receive you with the same mercy and acceptance as you did many. Your real treasures await. Thanks again for everything!

My deepest condolences . Had the pleasure to know Chris and share some great moments in life .  I am deeply sad on his sudden passing
