David L Nelson II

David Laurence Nelson II, tragically passed away Tuesday July 17th, 2012. Dave resided in Plantation Florida where he lived with his wife Marla. They relocated to Florida from Bellingham, WA for Dave’s job where he was employed with MTN Telecommunications. He loved his Job and everyone he worked with. This job gave Dave the opportunity to do one of the things he loved the most, travel. Dave was loved by everyone he knew and he loved them back ten times more. He was the kind of guy to give you the shirt off his back. Dave Served active duty in the United States Marine Corps and did tours in Iraq before he received Honorable Discharge. Dave made many lifelong friends in the Marine Corps. People he considered to be brothers. Dave will be remembered by many for so many reasons, one including his infectious smile. Dave had the ability to light up any room he walked into and you could be sure you could hear him talking over anyone else. Dave touched many lives all over this world on his adventures. Dave’s friends and family held a very huge part of his heart. He was considered to be the best uncle and always made sure his family knew where his travels were taking him. David Is pre deceased by his parents Linda and David Nelson. Survived by his loving wife Marla Nelson, Sister Tasha, Niece and Nephew, Hannah and Jackson Malouf. Along with an unlimited amount of family and friends who will miss him dearly. The world lost an amazing husband, son, friend, brother, nephew and uncle. And is already missed by his dog Boo.

Memorial service will be held at Baker Creek Place in Bellingham WA. On July 28th at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Children’s Cancer Society.
