Eddie was born in the Bronx, NY on July 1, 1959. He was the second of four children and attended Evander Childs Educational Campus in the Bronx. Eddie moved to Florida in 1984 and became a mechanic for the City of Margate.
Friends and family remember Eddie as a man with a sharp sense of humor who would lend a hand to help anyone. He enjoyed playing family poker on Saturdays, poker with the guys on Thursdays, fishing, and especially golfing.
Eddie is survived by his mother Irma Santiago, father Henry, brothers Henry Jr. and Robert, sister Jo-Ann, wife Vicki, daughter Monique, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing and services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 2-4pm at Forest Lawn, 200 Copans Rd., Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
