Helen S. Knott, 81, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Helen was born in New York, NY on January 16, 1931. She was raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY where she attended F.R.H.S. Helen worked as an interior designer most of her life and loved art, travel, and time spent with family and friends. Helen enjoyed life to the fullest and was an amazing creative person. She was loved by many and she will be missed but forever in our hearts. Helen was preceded in death by the late Thomas e Knott, Jr.
Helen will be sorely missed by her children; Thomas E. Knott III (Amy) of China, Kathryn F. Rodden (Mark) of Kanas City, Martin F. Knott of California, David J. Knott ( Linda) of New Hampshire, and Jane Steinberg (Rob Spears) of Largo, FL. Also surviving is a sister Linda Kowalski (Ludwik) of New Jersey, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. In lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s memory may be made to Hospice of P.B. County or a charity of the donor’s choice.
