My husband and myself have known your Mom about 12 years. She lived in the condo by our Uncle George. She was always kind and helpful to everyone and a fun guest to take out to eat. She loved Chili's.....

Though we grew up in the same Bronx neighborhood and shared some of the same friends, I really didn't get to know Janet until we reconnected in Florida – perhaps 12-15 years ago.  She had a keen mind and wry sense of humor that made conversations lively.  She was so proud of her son, Tommy, and spoke of him often.  And she was the most dedicated resident of her building, taking on full 24/7 management chores without recompense.  Janet was warm and caring, and uniquely special.  She will be missed by many hearts for a long, long time….  My deepest condolences to all of her family.

Janet was a longtime resident-owner at Palm Aire 2. She genuinely cared about the issues and challenges of the association, attending every board meeting and serving on two committees. In three years of knowing her, I can say she touched lives and made a difference in the community. Personally, she made an impact on my role as Property Manager by being so pleasant, by asking thoughtful questions and making worthwhile observations. I had already missed her presence – Janet hadn't been by the office in about 2 months when I heard of her passing – and now I know it's the end of an era.

I was truly fortunate to have known Janet for the past 7 years.  Our community has benefited a great deal as a result of Janet's volunteer work. Not only was she frequently at board meetings, she often stopped by the association office - sometimes just to bring by a treat for the office staff.  Whatever she was doing, she was always thinking of others. My sympathies go out to her family.  We will miss her dearly.

Joyce and Jerry Messina have known Janet since we moved here,17 yrs. ago. We both worked with Janet many years and enjoyed our association with her as a friend and co-worker. She was a prime example of what it takes to live in a close-knit community such as ours. She made a tremendous contribution to our association by being a pro-active member of our community. We all will miss her very much.

I was saddened to hear of Janet's passing, she was a lovely and caring person. I am in New Jersey and unfortunately will not be able to attend visitation on Friday, but send my sincerest condolences to the family. Marie Barnes. Board of Directors.

I have know Janet since Kindergarden.  We grew up together, walked to school together, played outside after school and shared all the experiences of growing up.  I will miss Janet very much and will always remember her.  I send my condolences to her family.
