Jerome "Jerry" Simon Miller went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2014 at the age of 101. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Henderson Miller, son Christopher (Beth), grandchildren Jake and Lindsay, and several nieces and nephews. Jerry grew up in Port Chester, NY, son of Jacob and Sade (Siegel) Miller. He owned Miller's Lilliputian Shoppe in Stamford, CT for 50 years. He moved full time to Pompano Beach in 2006. Jerry's true love was playing the piano. He often entertained parishioners and the homeless at St. Gabriel's Church in Pompano Beach. He was an avid composer and poet, with many poems published. He also was an active golfer in his younger years. Jerry served in the Army Air Force in WWII, achieving the rank of Captain. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 11am at St. Gabriel's Church, 731 N. Ocean Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL.
