My Memories of Pop Barone
Papa Barone was a wonderful kind soul with the nicest smile I might add. I fondly remember many a days at the Barone Mansion when he would crack those smiles. They were definitely genuine and always a welcome sight.  He always welcomed us kids into his home and never once made us feel like we were intruding. He also had a sincere demeanor a quiet yet very approachable dad. That man worked hard just like my dad early to bed early to rise. I remember we always respected the fact that his job required him to be up at the crack (actually before the crack) so....... we made sure to respect the house and keep it down after dinner.
I remember Pop although a met fan would sit in the den often times with his met hat on watching the game in between nodding off, you would never know he was there and then all of a sudden he would yell at the tv  when the Mets screwed up. He would shake his head say what they did wrong and go sit quietly again. Mom and Pop always made sure there was plenty of eats and room at their dinner table for whoever was there.  I remember when us girls were getting ready to drive, he would take us out by the beetle and tell us things we needed to know about driving., and yes the stories and education lessons were sometimes  eye rollers but he wanted to make sure we would be safe and prepared when the time came for us to drive on our own. Cathy you and I are two lucky girls, to have the kind of dads we do. Your Dad I want you to never forget adored you like no other. I always thought it was so endearing when he would hug you and pinch your cheeks. He would often say I love this kid to us and you would roll your eyes and go I know DAD.!!!! I know you would be a little embarrassed but he didn’t care who he said it around because he was so dam proud of you. Hold these memories forever my friend, b/c that’s what helped make your house a home❤️Lisa & Rich

Dearest cousins Marie, Cathy & Frank,
We are deeply saddened for the loss of a very compassionate and humble person, my Uncle Joe. All the years growing up and the family gatherings of holidays, family picnics are just a some of the many time's spent together will always be something to remember. 
Thoughts and prayers are with you to help you through a most difficult time.
Uncle Joe will be missed.

We have so many memories. The first one was when you and my Joe met the family at Marions house. What a fiasco  
 All the visiting in Florida, the holidays, the kids - your godson Philip.  Wonderful times together. You will be missed.  We love you
