

Linne was born in Chicago, IL to Dr. and Mrs. Earl Landy on September 14, 1944. She married Dr. Thomas Goberville on August 17, 1963 and they had three children, Gary, Kristin and Todd.
Linne graduated from Morgan Park High school in Chicago, IL. She subsequently received her Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University graduating with honors.
She briefly worked as an English teacher at Deerfield Beach High School and taught art at the Boca Art Institute. She was especially fond of the sculpture and Raku form of art and generously donated much of her artwork to her many friends and family.
She was an avid “A” tennis player and won numerous championships. In addition, she found time to sing in the B Flats Choir Group who performed both professionally and gratuitously at local senior living events. She also proudly danced with the June Taylor dance group, formerly the choreographer for the Jackie Gleason television show.
Her passion and devotion was her family, dance, art, music, boating, fitness and her many friends. She was the best wife, mother and friend anyone could ever ask for.
Linne is survived by her loving husband of 61 years and her children, Gary, Kristin and Todd. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Brooke, Zachary, Trace, Nya, Linne, TJ and her sister, Donna Kirby of Abilene , Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2700 NE 36th Street, Lighthouse Point, Florida.
There will be a Celebration of Life following the service with location to be shared at the Service.
> The family of Linne wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the entire staff at Belmont Village Memory Center, the hospice nurses who helped to bring her comfort in her final days and her personal physician, Dr. Edward Walker, MD.
> In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Dementia Research and Hospice.
