Mario Spagnardi¬ November 25, 1923 (Jan 2, 1924) – May 22, 2015 Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida – Mario Spagnardi, 91, who’s Spirit left his body on May 22, 2015 at Holy Cross Hospice Center, Fort Lauderdale - Surrounded by Friends & Family at his bedside…He is Survived by his two sons Patrizio & Orazio Spagnardi, his Grandchildren Tina Marie married to Scott Monaghan, Patrizio Spagnardi Jr. married to Karen, 8 Great-Grandchildren, two surviving Brothers Vittorino & Tomasino Spagnardi, many close friends and other family members, as well as many more Nephews & Nieces in Italy, Australia and the US…Born and raised in Fondi Italy, the Son of Andrea and Maria Loreta (Velletri) Spagnardi. He was actually born on November 25, 1923 but his mother waited until January 2, 1924 to register him so that he wouldn’t be drafted into the Military until a year older… He met who would eventually end up becoming his wife, when he was 6 and she, Maria Angela Abbondanzio was 5 years old in the small town of Fondi… his Father made a living as a farmer selling oranges from his Orange Orchards as well as making Vino, which as a youngster, Mario would help his Father by stomping the grapes with his bare feet. He went to Rome to study Theology so that he may become a priest (Thank God he didn’t become one or my Brother Patrizio and I would not exist)… He later changed his major to Engineer and earned a degree at the International University College of Turin, in Torino, Italy… shortly after returning to Fondi he was soon drafted into the Italian Army… he was eventually captured by the Germans but by the Grace of God He managed to escape just before they readied to execute him…After the war he married the Love of his Life Maria Angela Abbondanzio on February 13, 1947.. Since there was little or no work in Italy after the war he went to Brasil and after living there for some time, He started his own very successful construction company that built houses, roads and bridges… While, in Brasil he became great friends with Dr Pietro Ubaldi (a Noble Prize Nominee & also a friend of Einstein), who had written “La Gran Sintesis” and because of their friendship he grew to an even higher Spiritual Level… Mario was a Very Honest and Religious Man of Integrity, and because of it he lost pretty much everything due to local dirty politicians playing politics & wanting money and bribes. So He and his family moved to the USA in 1958 Resided in New Jersey for 10 years, then had enough of the cold and moved to Florida… He began having Bible Study in 1977 and when it started to get very big He began a non-denominational church, “Good Shepherd Christian Church” in Tamarac. He touched many people’s lives and would give you the shirt of his back to help you.. He was Loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him and knowing him… His message to All that serves as His Legacy is; “LOVE COMPASSION and JUSTICE” Some of his accomplishments, to name a few… He designed the improved Aqueduct System for Fondi, Started “Spagnardi Construction Company” in Brasil, Started the “Good Shepherd Christian Church” in Florida, Spoke SIX Languages – Italian / Latin / French / Portuguese / Spanish / English, Written several books and just to name a few – “The Rise Of A New Era; The Third Millenium / The Spiritual 4th Dimension / Spiritual Treatise of Logic 3rd Millennium, Invented/Designed “Asfaltador a Pressao” (Pressurized Asfaltor) in 1952, He Designed Wings for man to wear and Fly! And now he Flys without the wings as the ANGEL that he is… Touched many, many Lives…. He was a Sweet and Gentle Soul with an Infectious Smile that would make anybody Feel Good and Melt your Heart… A very Honest, Religious & Spiritual Person with a Great Deal of Integrity…He was my Father, Mentor and My Best Friend. His Legacy that will forever be remembered are his Teachings of: “ LOVE COMPASSION and JUSTICE… “
