Taintor, Mary Louis (Chitty) passed away Sunday, October 25th at her villa in John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. She is predeceased by her parents, Buist C. Chitty and Mary Chitty, and her husband, James S. Taintor, Jr., all of Miami Shores, Florida, and her brother, Buist C. Chitty, Jr. of Inverness, Florida. Surviving Mary Louise are her sons: James S. Taintor, III (Elizabeth Ann) of Key Biscayne, Florida, Frank Andrews (Andy) Taintor (Mary Lou) of Naples, Florida, and Patrick Chitty Taintor (Wanda, deceased) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; by eight grandchildren and by eight great-grandchildren. A private service with family will be held at her gravesite in Miami beside her late husband.
