Michelange immigrated to the United States in the late 1970’s / 80’s in search of a better life for his family. From there he worked as a mechanic as he worked in the field and apprenticed in Haiti. Dad later opened up his own mechanic shop and gave others the opportunity to learn the field.
Although Michelange was extremely busy, he traveled back and forth countless times to spend time with the family he left behind and to also take care of his business ventures. Michelange didn’t know what it was like to take a vacation, he would go back home and worked just as hard as he did here. As a devoted husband and a father of eight children, Michelange wanted to show his children and his family that working hard to support us and helping others was not a choice for him, but the gateway to fulfill his God’s given purposes.
