Mickey Harris

Albert "Mickey" Harris, age 74, of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Born September 1, 1941, in Forest City, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Walter Carlos Harris and Lydia Mae (Radford) Harris. Mickey worked in the elevator industry in South Florida and Northern Virginia for more than 30 years. Mickey loved to spend time with his family and friends, deeply adored his grandchildren, and loved his travel companion Pepe, his dog. He was an avid boater and fisherman, and in retirement enjoyed repairing mechanics and electronics. He is survived by his former spouse, Madonna Isabel Harris; along with three sons: Chris Harris, his wife Christine, and their three sons - Luke, Tyler, and Mark - all of Coconut Creek, Florida; son Shawn Harris and his wife Claudia, of Deerfield Beach; and son Greg Harris of Pompano Beach, Florida, his sisters Diane Watkins, Faye McKeown, Nancy Jones, and youngest brother Scott - all of North Carolina, and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.
