Millie C Schiaffo

September 26, 2011, she was 94 years old.

She was a wonderful Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt and Friend who was always giving

and there to lend a hand.

She was born in New York City on March 7, 1917 to Nicola and Josephina DeClario

and was one of eight children who included:

Angelina(Angie) Santos(Sandy) Julia, Frank, Tony, Gloria and Michael. She was

the last one to pass away and now joins her Mother, Father, Sisters and Brothers

in heaven.

She was married to Frank Schiaffo on April 23, 1938 at the Church of Santa Maria

in the Bronx New York.

They had two sons, Carmine Robert born on July 26, 1940 and Gary Frank born on

January 6, 1948.

They were married for 53 years before her husband passed away on June 1, 1991

She was independent and energetic for the next 20 years and was loving and

caring to her family and friends. In 2008 she became weak and ill and could no

longer do the thing she was used to and was placed into an assisted living

facility. She continued to show a positive attitude and still had enough energy

and compassion to help others. As time passed she became weaker but still

managed to smile and greet you with a gracious hello and hug.

In her final month she was overwhelmed with pain and confusion and rested more

and more. She went into a deep sleep and passed away peacefully suffering no

more pain.

She is survived by her two sons Carmine and Gary, two Daughter in Laws, Jean and

Christine, her Grandchildren Gina, Bobby, his wife Dina, Michelle and Tony and

her Great Grandchildren Hallie, Nicolas, Blessing, Brandon and great great

grandson Carson.

She will be deeply missed and loved forever and her Love, Kindness and Caring

ways have touched the hearts of many she came in contact with.
