Nick Scott Matin

A graduate of Canton Lehman High School in 1974 and Kent State University, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to begin a highly successful 38-year sales career. Nick worked for Motion Industries, Gulf Controls, Marco Fluid Power, and Emerson ASCO Fluid Power.

Nick had a passion for golf and caring for his many dogs. He became a huge South Florida sports fan of the Miami Heat, Dolphins, and Hurricanes.

Nick is preceded in death by his father James Matin, and is survived by his wife, Mary Matin as well as his mother- Catherine Matin, and one brother-Stacy Matin, sister-in-law – Kay Matin, nephews – Matthew, Joseph and Philip Matin and Grand Nephew – Andrew Matin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM. A committal service will follow.
