Paul Liotti, the beloved son of Danny and Yvonne Liotti, and devoted father to daughters, Kaitlyn and Alyse, was born on April 19, 1974. He was a graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Social Sciences. Paul taught Ethics, Philosophy, Government and Economics at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida. He was also the Head Baseball Coach at Cypress Bay.
More than anything, Paul loved God and he loved being a father to his two daughters, Kaitlyn and Alyse. They were his everything. He spent every moment he could with his girls and would do anything to make them smile, including dressing up as characters like Spongebob and a Butler. When he wasn't with his daughters, he was coaching baseball. Coach Liotti was loved by hundreds of baseball players over his 21 year career. He was known as a motivator and encourager who inspired his ball players on and off the field. Paul was named "Coach of the Year" two times, with the most recent in 2007, as Coach of the Year for Broward County Schools. He not only taught excellent baseball skills, he modeled servitude and led his teams to do great community service. One big contribution to the community was "Kaitlyn's Gift" which was made in honor of his daughter's victory over cancer, where he organized donating hundreds of gifts at Christmas time to sick children in hospitals around the county. Coach Liotti organized food donations to the Ronald McDonald House, which provided a place to stay and food to families who had seriously sick children in the hospital. He and his Cypress Bay Baseball team also led a successful Breast Cancer fundraiser.
Paul was known as a charismatic and humorous person. He loved memorizing lines from movies, playing golf and going fishing. Paul loved his family and friends very much and made every gathering memorable.
