

Lombardo, Philip Andrew, 69, of Coral Springs, FL and Lodi, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Coral Springs Medical Center, Coral Springs,Fl. He passed suddenly from a unresponsive strain of pneumonia. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 49 years, Vivian (Csejka) Lombardo; cherished dad of Carl Philip Lombardo and Dayna (Lombardo) Berry; devoted grandfather (Poppy) of Dylan H. Berry and Cheyenne W. Berry; loving brother of Rosemarie Golis and Uncle "Great" to Susan Lucas, Mike and Susan Golis, Devon and Staci Schulte, Tiffany Dehling, Brittany Talley and Krista Talley. We find solace in knowing that his spirit was welcomed by his parents; Carl and Josephine Lombardo, his brother-in-law Ed Golis, his niece Kathy Talley and all of his dear friends who passed before him.
Philip was born in Hackensack and raised in Lodi, New Jersey. Upon Marrying, he and his wife Vivian moved to Coral Springs, Florida where they lived, loved, and raised their children for 37 Years. He worked at Tyco International, A long time employee working there for 33 years. He enjoyed football- A faithful follower of the Jets,J-E-T-S! and baseball- Go Marlins. He had many interests over the years and there was not much that he could accomplish! Happiest surrounded by family and friends and often the life of the party, Phil was fun. Always a smile, a helping hand, a caretaker whom took care of everyone. He made many many life long friends (many at Tyco) and we wish we could recognize each and every one for their love and kindness because to Phil his family and friendships meant everything. The family is so grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support received during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life is being planned for Sunday January 27th 2013.
