I've been thinking about Ralph for quite awhile.
I have so many wonderful memories of Ralph and his wife Jo from my job at Red Lobster. They were like family. I had a special anniversary get together for them.
They both became true friends to me and Mrs. Hall was always so thoughtful and kind. She brought little gifts to my hostesses ( and myself)
They were one of the couples that we all wish we could be. I truly loved them. 
I wish I had known about Ralph. My late condolences to all of their family members. You were so fortunate to have both of them as your parents. I was fortunate to have known both of them. One day, we'll see each other again.

Ralph you will always be remembered by us. We all had great times together ,we knew in our hearts that you were a great friend someone who was there. Some one who taught us alot about life.some great stories. Gary rembers when you and him would watch western together and share stories. Shhh lol and riding motorcycles we had more fun and  we know you loved the farm. Your daughters were beautiful your heart was so big. You will be miss. Gary and kathy. Prayers to all your family. Your with Mavis now.  Rest in Peace.

I’m going to miss my daddy, till I see him again.

So many memories throughout many years. I may not be family but at times it sure felt like it. Our families were intertwined for almost 20 years. Some of my fondest memories are of walking home from middle school to Jo & Ralph's house to meet my dad after work. I'd walk up and Ralph would say "what's going on squirt?" Then he would tell me where my dad was with a big smile. If he was still busy I would hang out at the house for a while. You see he treated me no different than any of the other grandkids.  Ralph will forever be remembered for his great smile, kind heart, and everlasting love for his family. I know my dad truly feels like he lost a dear friend. He may have been his boss for 20 years but in that amount of time it truly was more like a family.  

I will miss Dad’s morning calls that always ended with “I love you too baby”


May looking back in memory of the wonderful years you had together help comfort you in the days and weeks to come.

I may have just been a daughter-in-law but Ralph Sr made it clear from the moment I married his son that I was a daughter to him. This bond between us only grew stronger over the years. He was the father I needed when mine wasn't there for me. He was my shoulder to cry on and my friend. During the last 9 years of caring for him when Jo passed have been an honor and privilege, and to thank the man that gave me the love of my life. The past 26 years haven't always been easy but I knew he was there for me, even when we may have disagreed or I showed a lack of maturity, he never judged. I have so many good memories to carry me through these hard days ahead but what I wouldn't do to just sit with him and hear how his sisters carried him to school and the other carried his books because they took care of their little brother, or making mattresses for a living. Ralph Jr and I laugh about the day I took his  new pickup down an embankment when we were first married and scratched it up with the bushes because I was afraid of falling in.
 Ralph Sr. was laughing so hard and teasing his son about the Yankee he married. I'm still afraid to drive down an embankment but Ralph Sr. learned the Yankee wasn't so bad, lol. I will miss this dear man more than words can express and loved him immensely. Monday I also lost my "Dad". You can rest now without us bothering you - Love Jen
