Forest Lawn is located at 200 W. Copans Rd., Pompano Beach, FL. Mrs. Rosina Vidana was born in Barcelona, Spain. Her family moved to Cuba soon after her birth, where she lived until 1959. At that time she, her husband Rene Vidana, and their 3 small children Rene Jr., Carlos, and Cecilia, came to the US seeking political refuge.
She is survived by her daughter Cecilia, her two sons Carlos and Rene Jr., as well as her two grandchildren, Seth and Lucas. Rosina was preceded in death by her husband Rene, and her grandson Gines J. Jimenez.
Rosina was known for her passion with gardening and pets... from growing orchids, roses and amaryllis, to breeding Lhasa Apso puppies, canaries and cockatiels... to feeding squirrels, and all sorts of Florida birds and wildlife (including iguanas)... by her waterfront condo in Deerfield Beach, FL, during her later years.
Rosina touched every person she met with warm positive energy, sincere affection, and an intoxicating joy for life, which we seldom see these days.
Her spiritual strength carried her through very sad and difficult situations throughout her life. Her religious convictions led her to easily become a pillar of strength for all her loved ones...
She will be missed by all who knew her.
