Terry Lynn Kyle

Terry is survived by his mother, Shirley Thompson; wife, Micha Kim; Children, Austin Kyle, Ashley Kyle, Ashley Kim, and Brittany Kim; Siblings, Donna Birt and Rhonda Hooper. Terry is preceded in death by Cameron Kyle and Jimmy Thompson.

Terry was born on August 19th, 1959 in Chattanooga, TN to Shirley Thompson and Donald Kyle. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Criminology. He married Micha Kim, the love of his life, in 1999. After moving to Florida, Terry began working for the Broward Sheriff’s Office as a police officer. Over the years, the couple supported their children into adulthood and set about teaching them important life lessons. His children remember him as a selfless, kind, funny, and respectable father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Terry was a man of many talents, some of which was being able to repair most anything and make most anyone laugh. He was an avid collector of many things, which include coins, hats, guitars, and cameras. He was passionate about cars, boats, fishing, and most of all, family. He worked hard every day to provide for his family, protected those he loved, and impacted his friends and neighbors with his endless generosity. He was an extroverted individual who loved to be the life of the party and bring laughter into the room.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5-9PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 6:00PM all are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry’s life. A private grave side Inurnment will be held for immediate family on Saturday, October 14. 2023 at 10:30AM.
