

William Patrick Holliday Jr., a strong-willed, helpful, and compassionate man, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 89. Born in Kingstree, South Carolina, on April 30, 1936, he was the son of the late William and Audria (Mize) Holliday Sr. William was a resident of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
In his early years, William was honorably discharged from the Army in 1956. He went on to become an entrepreneur in sales, building and running his own company with the help of his children.
William was married to Grace (Harrelson) Holliday for 60 years, sharing a life filled with love and family. He was the proud father of five children: Jeff Holliday, Eric Dean Holliday, Michael P. Holliday, Bonnie Bumgarner, and Donna Avery. His legacy extends to nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. William shared a special bond with his cherished dog, Happy Holliday.
A professional businessman, William was musically inclined and owned several keyboards. He had a remarkable talent for music, able to hear a song, practice it a few times, and teach himself to play it by ear. His musical talents extended to playing the harmonica and banjo. William was also a devoted dog lover.
Services to honor William’s life will be held on October 20, 2025, at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. The visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. The committal service, with military honors, will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, 200 West Copans Road, at 11:00 am. The family will greet friends, at a small reception, in the funeral home, immediately following the committal.
