
Katie Mae Forman Todd, age 92, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Sunshine Health Care in Pontotoc. She was a member of Horton Memorial Baptist Church. She was retired from Irwin B. Schwabe Manufacturing, Ram Golf Manufacturing and owned and operated Todd’s Grocery for many years. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and spending time with her family.
Services will be at 2 PM Friday, December 21, 2012 at Sand Springs Church with Rev. J.W. Owen and Rev. Kevin Merritt officiating; burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter: Zelda Montgomery (Tranny) of Pontotoc, MS; two sons: Robert D. Todd (Thelma A.) of Pontotoc, MS and Mitchell D. Todd (Candy) of West Olive, MI; two sisters: Margaret Tackitt (Clyde) of Randolph, MS and Joyce Baines of Hayden, AL ; three brothers: Frank Forman (Clivie) of Warrior, AL, Earl Forman of Pontotoc, MS and Lannie Forman(Marilyn) of AL; one sister-in-law: Louise Forman, of Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren: Kim Curtis (Jan), Becky Tutor, Mitchell Todd (Karen), Warren Todd (Diane) and Beth Wray (Jason); and eight great-grandchildren: Emma Wray, Ben Wray, Leah Wray, Cameron Curtis, Chase Curtis, Noah Todd, Luke Tutor and Dalton Tutor.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Neal Forman and Mary Etta Wise Forman, her husband: Ornie Mitchell Todd, her granddaughter: Melissa Todd, and brother: Johnny Forman.
Pallbearers will be: Warren Todd, Mitchell Todd, Jason Wray, Junior Tackitt, Junior Forman and Bobby Forman. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Wimp Swords and Clyde “Buddy” Tackitt.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM Thursday at the church and from 1 to 2 PM Friday at the church.
