Funeral services for Martha Jo Roberts Faulkner, 77, will be held on Saturday January 14th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Longview Baptist Church with Bro. Drew Richardson and Bro. Clyde Pound officiating. Burial will follow in the Longview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Martha died on January 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1939 in Itawamba Co. to the late Frank and Minnie Roberts. She married her late husband Claude on June 18, 1961 and went on to work as a Bookkeeper for M & M Trucking. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, serving on the social committee and being a Sunday school teacher. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude M Faulkner; brothers, Loyd and Billy Roberts and her sisters, Maurine Morgan and Gladys Ashworth.

Martha is survived by her children, Cynthia Baird (Wayne), Angelia Hale (Kerry), and Steve Faulkner (Jeanie); grandchildren, Ashley Golden (Joseph), Kaylee Graham (Cody), Chase Hale, Brandon Hale, Eli Faulkner, Khloe Baird, and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Wally Golden and a special thanks to the exceptional caregivers from Comfort Keepers.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Dyer, Henry Payne, Barry Boyd, Mitchell Pound, Tommy Montgomery, Eddie Johnson, Chuck Pound, and Billy Grubbs. Honorary pallbearers will be: Harold Huey, Robert Faulkner, Dudley Park, Danny Park, Joseph Golden, Steve Smith, Dwayne Westmoreland, Dennis Westmoreland, Johnny Pettit, Balford Patterson, and Byron Faulkner.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and until service time on Saturday.
