Mary Kathryn Easterling

Mary Kathryn Ivy Easterling, age 91, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her home. She was born August 31, 1921 in Calhoun County to James Thomas and Elier Pearl Houpt Ivy. She married Virgil Byron Easterling on May 18, 1941. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pontotoc.

Services will be at 2 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Corley officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her children: Larry Easterling (Diann), Kaye Clowers (Buddy), Mike Easterling (Shelia) and Kim Baldwin (Barry); her grandchildren: Shan Easterling (Tasha) , Connie Youngblood (Tim), Ethan Easterling, Ken Clowers (Valery), Kathy Kaye Spencer (Trent), Kade Clowers, Kestry Clowers (Britnei), Kody Clowers (Lakyn), Kory Clowers (Ashley), Jason Easterling (Kim), Caleb Easterling (Brandy), Dustin Baldwin (Samantha) and Dylan Baldwin (Monica); her great-grandchildren: Carys, Alden and Levi Easterling, Ethan Youngblood, Maidie Kathryn and Hollan Clowers, William, Caitlin and James Hayden Spencer, Kaylyn, Emily, Laney Kate and Karlei Ann Clowers, Kye and Lylee Clowers, Kaylee Grace Royce, Korbin Clowers, Ella Easterling, Ace Easterling , Lana and Aubrey Baldwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 11 to 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
