Mildred Kisor

Mildred Virginia Thedford Kisor, age 88, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Union County Health and Rehab in New Albany, MS. She was a member of Springville Baptist Church and a retired factory worker.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, talking on the telephone and sitting on her porch and watching the cars go by.

Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Pete Gregory officiating; burial will follow in the Springville Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters: Shelia Kisor of Pontotoc, MS and Phyllis Farris (Jimmy) of Ecru; one son: Duane Kisor of Pontotoc, MS; two sisters: Lena Davis of Saltillo, MS and Robbie Creel (Billy) Pontotoc, MS; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Irby; her husband: Robert Clarence Kisor, a son: Donnie Kisor and a brother: James Irby.

Pallbearers will be: Shane Onsby, Brandon Onsby, Jacob Moss, Nathan Moss, Robby Farris and R.J. Sisco.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday and from 9 to 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
