A. Dean Smith

Mr. Smith was a retired truck driver and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, E. Aubrey and Madeline Ryan Smith.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Smith of Poplarville; one son, Todd Alan (Kathy) Smith of Zachary, LA; one daughter, Bridges Smith (Jim) Brown of Dallas, TX; stepdaughter, Nicole (Brett) Bell of Maurepas, LA; one son-in-love, Joel (Kim) Pattison of Denham Springs, LA; five siblings, David Gilbert Smith of Poplarville, MS, Diane Joyce Kling of Gonzales, LA, Dale Anne Paradelas of Gadsden, AL, Daniel Aubrey Smith of Poplarville, MS, Doris Smith Beckwith of St. Amant, LA; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church, 7451 Highway 43 North, Poplarville, MS, 39470 with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, Troy Kling, Trent Smith, Chase Smith, Cole Pattison, Daniel Smith, and David Lampman.
