Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday June 1, 2012 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville for Mrs. Bessie Lee Davis, 87, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Tuesday May 29, 2012 in The Woodland Nursing Center, Diamondhead. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery, Poplarville.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Bernell and Rena Davis Dedeaux; her husband, Emile Davis; one son, Leavis Edward Davis, six brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include five sons, Leamon Davis, Floyd Davis, Preston Davis, Roger Dale Davis, and Elvis Davis; one daughter, Lindell Lee; one sister, Beulah Gaye; twenty-three grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Lee, Sherman Davis, Bobby Davis, Dale Davis, Casey Davis, Randy Davis, and Harry Davis.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Thursday May 31, 2012 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470.
