Billy "Butch" Littleton, age 82 departed this life into God's presence on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was one of the first graduating classes at Poplarville High School. When Butch graduated he joined the United States Army to serve his country, receiving the Expert (Rifle M-14) Medal of honors. When Butch got home from the military he began his career in New Orleans, Louisiana as a banker, then went to work at Western Auto. He also helped his parents and worked for them at Dixie Florist and a TV repair shop. He truly was a jack of all trades. Butch loved to help people in need and would help families in there time of need. He was a very quiet man, but enjoyed his time at the coffee shop with the town gentlemen discussing life and enjoying coffee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Zeno and Dicie Littleton and his uncle and aunt, Bill and Annette Holley.
Butch is survived by one sister, Aleece Strahan.
Family and friends are invited to attend Butch's graveside service on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Coal Town Cemetery, Purvis, Mississippi.
