Edward Joel Smith

Mr. Smith was a retired installer with Western Electric Company and World War II veteran of the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Nora Elizabeth Smith; his wife, Hazel Catherine Smith; five siblings, Bonnie White, Shirley Harder, Wallace Smith, Gerald Smith, and Douglas Smith.

Family members include four children, Connie (Devon) Lott, Danny (Sandy) Cole, Davey (Barbara) Cole, Rankin (Marlene) Cole; one sister, Carrie (Bill) Byrd; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Seal Cemetery (6 Jess Williams Rd, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:30 am. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Friday, December 11, 2020 at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470).
