Eloise Hoadley Ashe

Eloise Hoadley Ashe, age 85, of Poplarville, Mississippi departed this life into God's presence on Thursday, February 6, 2025. She was a devout Christian and an active church member at Murray Hill Church of God. Eloise loved her family dearly and always put them first. She began her career in Nursing, once her children were grown where she served 30 years at Pearl River Community Hospital and Nursing Home. She loved traveling and visiting her family in Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bobby Terrell Ashe, Sr.; parents, Clifford and Ora Mae Hoadley; one brother, Alton Hoadley and one sister, Margaret Lynn.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her two daughters, Marjie Seal (Bryan) and Sheryl Jones (Darryl); one son, Bobby Terrell "Turk" Ashe, Jr. (Misha); one brother, Dwight Hoadley (Marie); three sister-in-laws, Imogene Hoadley, Linda Ashe and Helen Ashe; one brother-in-law, Jim Ashe; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Seal (Grace Ann), Brooke Sides (Jonathan), Megan Walters (Mark), Ethan Seal (Kelley), Katelyn Jones, Chasity Ashe Johnson (Jesse) and Brandon Ashe (Noel); 12 great-grandchildren, Harrison Seal, Abel Seal, Bailey Ann Seal, Wyatt Seal, Abigal Walters, Preston Walters, Madeline Walters, Arthur Seal, John Thomas Seal, Kathryn Sides, Elijah Sides and Wesley Johnson; a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Bedford Care Center of Marion, Mississippi for their care over the past four years.

Family and friends are invited to attend Eloise's visitation on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Murray Hill Church of God, 372 Ashe Road, Poplarville, Mississippi, from noon until 2:00 pm., with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Jeremiah Seal, Ethan Seal, Brandon Ashe, Jon Ashe, Mark Walters and Doyle Ashe serving as pallbearers.
