Floy Jean Lee

Floy Jean Lee, age 73 departed this life into God's presence on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was a member of Hickory Springs Baptist Church, where she faithfully served and worshipped the Lord throughout her life. Her love for Jesus was evident in all that she did and her faith was a guiding light to those around her. Floy had a deep love for her family, she nurtured, supported and celebrated each of them with a heart full of grace and joy. Her presence brought comfort and her wisdom was a blessing.

Floy carried a joyful spirit and a sparkle of fun, especially when it came to her love for Elvis Presley. Whether it was the music that made her smile or the memories that made her laugh, Floy found joy in the moments that mattered. We celebrate her life with gratitude for the love she gave, the faith she lived and the legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her to walk in faith, love deeply and live joyfully.

She is preceded in death by her parents Buford and Myrtis Lee and one brother, Billy Lee.

Left to forever cherish Floy's memory are her seven siblings, Lavelle Lee (Pat), Claudine Hancock (Thomas), Don Lee (Elaine), Millerree Varnado (the late Gary), Thomas Clayton Lee (Louise), Braxton Lee (the late Nelda) and Charlotte Brewer (Russell); a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Floy's visitation on Monday, May 12, 2025 at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Lee Cemetery No. 1, Lumberton, Mississippi.
