Mrs. Lumpkin was born May 24, 1940 in Darbun, Mississippi to Roderick Lawrence Holden and Violet Conerly Holden. She was retired from Movie Star, Incorporated and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. Above all, she cherished her time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Coleman.

Family members include her husband of 51 years, Larry Lumpkin, who she married on April 24, 1966; two daughters, Alaina Breland and her husband Mark, Alicia Sargent and her husband Mike; one brother, Lawrence Holden; one sister, Beverly Craig; three grandchildren, Tyler Breland, Hunter Breland, Conner Sargent; five great grandchildren, Ryder, Rhett, Adalyn, Kenzi, and Lexi.

Services will be at White Funeral Home, Poplarville on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Walter Pierce will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Holden Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
