Mr. Mitchell was carpenter and painter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Clay Mitchell and Patricia Matthews Hudson; and one son, Cody Wayne Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Hutchison Mitchell; two daughters, Felicia Danielle Mitchell and Miranda Kay Mitchell, all of Poplarville, MS; one grandson, Jordan Scott Mitchell; four brothers, William Mitchell of Hammond, LA, Bobby Mitchell of Poplarville, MS, Mark Waltman of Niceville, FL, and Perry Boudwin of Houma, LA; two sisters, Lydia Herndon of Poplarville, MS and Nicole Lebouf of Houma, LA; and stepmother, Jackie Mitchell of Houma, LA.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville with burial following in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
