Harold Saucier

Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church, Poplarville on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Tommy Anthony and Rev. Ken Rhodes will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville. The family will receive friends after 10:00 am, Friday at the church.

Harold was born January 20, 1951 in Poplarville to H.J. and Mary Jane Keller Saucier. He was an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a devoted educator for 36 years in the Poplarville School District. A teacher, soccer coach, bus driver, and Statistician for Poplarville Hornet Football, Harold worked tirelessly to enrich the lives of his students. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and was an avid reader. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplarville.

Survived by his wife Lea Armstrong Saucier; four children, Amanda Saucier, Ashleigh (Kevin) Crow, Dain (Christie) Saucier, Eli Saucier; two grandchildren, Lillie Crow, Austin Crow; his mother, Mary Jane Saucier; four siblings, Linda (Wayne) Stogner, Sandra (John) Smith, Michael (Debbie) Saucier, Connie (Dr. Argile) Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, H.J. Saucier.
