Mrs. Ina Whitfield Wells

Graveside funeral services were held 2:00 pm Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Whitfield Family Cemetery in Poplarville for Mrs. Ina Whitfield Wells, affectionately known as "N'Ina" to her friends and family, age 63, of Poplarville, Mississippi who passed away Sunday September 25, 2011 in the care of her family. Bonnie Hodge, Stan Davis, and Melanie Davis offered words of comfort and the eulogy. Zak Gillespie offered musical selections.

The daughter of Thomas Eugene Guilford and Edith Morrison Whitfield; she was raised in the Oak Hill Community; and was educated in the Poplarville School System and Pearl River Community College. Through the years, Ina had owned several businesses in the Poplarville Community, most recently a coffee shop and antique store.

Survivors include her husband, Kennith Ray "Kenny" Wells; one son, Benjie Ray Wells of Poplarville, MS; one daugther, Nicole Wells Oeser of Nashville, TN; one brother, Winston Whitfield; two sisters, Christine Askins and Janie Stafford; five grandchildren; Benjamin Christopher Wells, Sarah Anne Whitney Wells, Baleigh Campbell Wells, Anne Catherine Oeser, and James Henry Oeser; great nieces, Gracie Stafford, Elizabeth Kimball, Natalie Frick, Delaney Askins, and Aaryn Askins; great nephews, Nolan Kimball, Wyatt Frick, Mason Frick, Brandon Askins, Chase Askins, Morgan Askins, Eli Askins, and Cole Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her baby brother, Henry Monroe Whitfied; one sister in law, Joanne Whitfield, and one brother in law, Warren Stafford.
