Cherished brother of Joann (Winfred) Johnston, Janet (Henry) Jefferson, and Linda West. Son of the late Forrest James Burge and the late Dolly Dimple Slade Burge. Adored grandfather of D.J. Burge, Anthony Smith, Brandon Smith, Trisha (Dan) Strickland, Abilene Smith, Roy Glynn Smith, Dianna Burge, and Braiden Burge. Great grandfather of Jacob Hartfield, Dakota Burge, Erin Smith, and Lilee Strickland. Born into Eternal Life on April 5th, 2020 in his 74th year. Retired from Cooper Power Systems in Lumberton; Pearl River Community College; and former owner of Burge's Gulf Filling Station in Poplarville. Proud US Army veteran.
