Jim Adams

Mr. Adams was born December 8, 1957 in Picayune, Mississippi to James "Bubba" Adams and Charlene Sibley. He was a retired paperwood hauler and did mobile home setup. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, above all, his great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Christina Baxter; one brother, William "Pee Wee" Adams; and one granddaughter, Sierra Douglas.

Family members include his wife of 40 years, Melinda Adcox Adams; three children, Nathan (Melissa) Douglas, Nicolette (Ellis) Penton, Donald (Daphne) Douglas; siblings, Susan Dillard, Jessie Cook; nineteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Brother Steve Spiers will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Burgetown Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation two hours prior to the service.
