Memorial services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Matthews was born August 11, 1949 in Poplarville, MS to Henry and Earline Reid Clark. She was a homemaker.
Family members include three sons, Robert (Dina) Matthews, Richard (Brandy) Matthews, David (Ashley) Matthews; thirteen grandchildren, Jasmine Matthews, Kylee Matthews, Kortlyn Matthews, Cheyenne Matthews, Kenzie Matthews, Tammy Crain, David Matthews, Jr., Justin Crain, Sammy Barry, Chad Barry, Ben Barry, Cody Odom, Seth Odom; one great-grandson, Luke Barry; nine brothers, two sisters, a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Matthews, Jr., and one son, George Matthews.
