Joy White, age 72 departed this life into God's presence on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was a devout Christian who loved deeply. Joy was a good wife, great mother and an excellent sister. She was a hard worker who always would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Joy had a loving spirit who loved her family and friends dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Earl White; one son, Wesley Earl White; parents, Charles and Wanda Sapp and two brothers, Charles Patrick Sapp, Jr. and Robert Sapp.
Left to forever cherish Joy's memory, one sister, Sheryl A. Sapp; one brother, Jon Keith Sapp (Deborah); one loving brother-in-law, Terry White; three nieces, Heather Raish (Tony), Heidi Box (Michael) and Terri Lynn White; four nephews, Charlie Sapp (Lori), Devin Sapp (Ciera), Jon Sapp (Jennifer) and Ty White (Kaleigh) and two special ladies who cared and loved Joy like their own, Donell and Roxanne.
Family and friends are invited to attend Joy's funeral service on Monday, October 6, 2025 for 11:00 am at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Burial to follow in Mitchell Chapel Cemetery, with Charlie Sapp, Devin Sapp, Jon Sapp, Tony Raish, Braylon Magee and Ty White serving as pallbearers.
