Kathy Lynn Bond

Kathy Lynn Bond of McHenry, Mississippi passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the age of 61. She was born to Joseph and Betty Jean Boyd on June 16, 1963 in Pearl River County. Kathy attended Poplarville High School, where she played in the band. She kept music close to her heart throughout her adult life, being blessed with a beautiful voice and loved to sing Karaoke. When she wasn’t singing or playing pool, she enjoyed catfishing at Cypress creek and watching football. Most of all, she enjoyed playing video games and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She had the heart of a servant, often putting others before herself. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, James Bond and her best friend, Polly Ladner.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her son, Ryan (Haley) Boyd; daughter, Renea (Gabe) Littlefield; two sisters, Ann Summers and Beverly Boyd; three brothers, Bobby (Sara) Milner, Randy Boyd and Joey (Vicki) Boyd; and her grandchildren, Brenna Bond, Peyton Bond, Kye Boyd and Sylas Boyd; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, officiated by Reverend Jeff Easterling, will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Elias Lee Cemetery beginning at 2:00 pm.
