He is preceded in death by his son, Larry James Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Ladner Parker; two daughters, Billy Joe Sandie, Nikki Slade; two brothers, Butch Parker, Joe Parker, both of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, Lavonda Miller, Betty Baxton, Brittany Slade, Tiffany Slade; and one great grandchild, Aria Baxton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
